The upcoming integration of the new AI Assistant into the ESI[tronic] software brings together the worlds of artificial intelligence and the extensive hands-on automotive expertise that Bosch has built up over many years. Troubleshooting and repair processes are significantly accelerated by an AI-based, chatbot-like search across Bosch's entire internal knowledge base and global expertise. For mechanics, this translates into fact-based AI support with a substantial reduction in troubleshooting and document search times. It acts as an intelligent dialogue partner, simplifying and accelerating the search for faults and documentation.

A key advantage of ESI[tronic] is its ability to provide direct and standardized access to the original documents of various vehicle manufacturers, eliminating the time-consuming process of searching through different manufacturer portals. Furthermore with the integrated and standardized Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA) solution, Bosch offers a central and secure gateway to protected vehicle data, ensuring that workshops can work efficiently and in compliance with manufacturer specifications. These features are crucial for modern vehicle repair and a significant advantage for our users.
