HighTech4Mobility – new format at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026

With the new HighTech4Mobility format, Automechanika Frankfurt is focusing for the first time on topics such as software-defined vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving, energy management, in-car entertainment, cybersecurity and digital services. Software companies, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and industry experts are invited to discuss strategies, innovations and new business models for the aftermarket.

Lounge Automechanika

The aftermarket is an integral part of the SDV ecosystem. Maintenance, upgrades and data-based services are creating new value-added potential in the automotive aftermarket. This transformation affects not only technology but also existing and potentially new business models. Visitors can expect expert presentations, practical use cases and networking opportunities. The meeting point is the Festhalle: centrally located and featuring a unique atmosphere, it offers the perfect setting to establish new partnerships. A dedicated lounge invites visitors to engage in professional discussions.

Announcement Las Vegas

With the international roadshow HEY/PIONEER Reception, we are already inviting participants to engage and exchange ideas. The next stop will be Las Vegas on 8 January 2026, where, under the motto “How Tech is Driving the Future of Mobility”, insights will be shared, and practical innovations will be presented.

People Roadshow Pioneer Reception

The kick-off took place in Berlin on 4 September 2025. In an exciting panel discussion at Borchardt, in the centre of Berlin, high-profile speakers from Google Cloud, Benteler Mobility and Motor AI discussed the future of mobility.

Experten Panel

Another exchange format, the Innovation4Mobility Talk, took place in cooperation with Boston Consulting and Google on 23 October 2025 in Munich at Google Cloud Space. The event focused on topics such as data-driven value creation, software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving, and generative AI in the automotive aftermarket. Among the participants were representatives from Audi, eBay, ZF, and Schaeffler.

“In-depth dialogue with tech entrepreneurs and start-ups delivers decisive momentum for the continued development of our Automechanika trade fairs around the globe. The automotive aftermarket has the potential to play a pioneering role in the technological transformation – and that is precisely what we are aiming for here with our road show.”

Olaf Mußhoff

“I love how this Reception succeeds in bringing together such a wide range of perspectives. Open dialogue is essential if we wish to achieve a shared understanding of transparency, accountability and applicable European standards for autonomous driving. In my opinion, this is the only way that we can continue to drive forward the greatest innovation the automotive industry has seen in recent decades.”

Roy Uhlmann

“The transition to software-defined vehicles requires companies to rethink everything. We are supporting this transformation with Google Cloud because it is a comprehensive platform that not only accelerates vehicle development and improves the customer experience, but also facilitates the optimisation of sales and aftersales operations.”

Wencke Schmidt

“Our experience has shown that autonomous driving can only succeed when numerous components work together. That is why we are not building a single vehicle, but rather an entire mobility ecosystem – by working together with partners who help to design the infrastructure, operation and financing.”

Tobias Liebelt
