Automechanika Innovation Awards 2024

Record participation this year: More than 150 products are in the running for this year's Innovation Awards at Automechanika Frankfurt. This is the largest number of entries since the awards were launched. There were a particularly large number of submissions in the areas of workshop solutions, innovative parts, electromobility and AI.

In mid-July, the 17-member international jury met in Frankfurt and decided which of the companies were nominated for the awards. A total of 42 applicants were shortlisted in nine categories. The decision was based on the independent expert opinions of consultant Dr Gerhard Angerer and Alexander Wottge, project manager at the Institut für Automobilwirtschaft.

The two independent experts examine all applications in detail and draw up a shortlist of the best submitted innovations for the jury.
