New at Automechanika Frankfurt: a 200-metre-long, authentic pit lane is emerging beneath the arcades of Hall 4, right in the heart of the exhibition grounds. Well-known figures from the motorsport world, impressive racing cars, mechanics, the roar of engines, live action, exciting challenges and exclusive insights bring motorsport to life up close.
The central meeting place for motorsport fans
The Seatfitting demonstration shows how drivers are fitted to their racing cars with millimetre precision. The Start-up Sessions provide spine-tingling moments as powerful racing engines are started up – this is also where the drift cars are started for their spectacular displays in the Future Mobility Park. During daily demonstration runs, including the Pit Lane Racing Show by Dörr Motorsport, the cars impressively demonstrate their performance.
From the DTM to Formula 4 and kart racing, various race series and leagues showcase the full diversity of professional motorsport. Anyone who wants to get behind the wheel virtually can conquer virtual race tracks in PETRONAS’s Formula 1 simulator.
