Hydraulic power steering system uses pressurized hydraulic fluids to generate power to the machinery whereas electronic power steering system generates power to the machine by using electric motor. The metal scraper contains scraper lips of two different materials. One is a thin metallic lip whereas the other one is a rubber lip. The metal scraper lip removes firmly adhering dirts and ice particles. The secondary lip of elastomer material enhances the overall scraping function, such us fine sand grains, water and similar foreign matter are reliably scraped off. Both scraper lips have a smaller diameter than the nominal diameter of the piston rod, thus ensuring a tight fit of the scraper lips.
