In 1963 Mr. Holger Christiansen (1927-2000) laid the foundation for the HC-CARGO success story in the city of Esbjerg, Denmark. HC-CARGO has faced all the market changes and technical developments with its forward-looking and customer-oriented spirit, which is still the driving force for all our employees.

Our goal is to be best in class and create value at all levels. For almost 6 decades, customers have come to appreciate the high quality of HC-CARGO products, our service and the strong partnership they have with us. With a forward-looking and customer-orientated approach, we build sustainable relations and assist our partners and customers in running successful businesses. Our product program is market and sold under the brand HC-CARGO. The portfolio includes starters, alternators and auto electrical spare parts and accessories (lighting, CCTV, workshop consumables etc.). Beside parts for passenger cars, it also covers components for commercial vehicles, industrial applications and agricultural machinery.

Sales is organized via 7 European sales companies and a network of agents and distributers or direct export. We service around 16.000 customers’ worldwide – primarily wholesalers, independent workshops and auto electricians

The Bosch Company acquired the company in 2008. Since then HC-CARGO has been a Bosch Group brand.
