The width of all pairs of installation and removal pressure feet can be individually adjusted and adapted on the crossbar. Design of compact wheel bearing

Compact wheel bearings are also known as generation 2.1 wheel bearings. They have a flange, which is shaped as a wheel hub. The wheel bearing is a compact unit and cannot be split. The Generation 2.1 wheel bearing has a rotating internal or external ring and a locking ring

Installation/removal

Due to the rotating internal ring of the wheel bearing, professional installation must only be carried out via the outer ring of the bearing. A suitable tool is required in order to avoid damaging the bearing. Only a few components of our system are required for installing and removing the compact wheel bearing

Generation 2 pressed wheel bearings with integrated wheel hub, also known as HBU 2.1 or compact wheel bearings, have been used in vehicles since 2002 and are now installed in most vehicle brands and sizes. Proper installation can only be ensured by transferring power to the bearing. Compact wheel bearings are available in diameters ranging from 62 to 94 mm

Tensioning the spring

Movable gripping jaws ensure optimum adaptation to the pitch of the spring winding. This results in a larger contact surface on the spring and prevents damage to the spring surface.
The height of spring vice V4476N can be adjusted so that it can adapt to different shock absorber and spring lengths. A high degree of security and flexibility is guaranteed when all safety precautions are observed. Safe working is ensured by the rear operation of the spring vice, thus minimising the risk of injury. The permanently installed safety band serves as additional protection against breaking springs during the tensioning process

Integrated support

The spring vice can also be converted into a hydraulic support. With this application, the 2.1 t of compressive force are a practical aid when working on handlebars or supporting joints
