An air conditioning compressor is responsible for compressing and moving the refrigerant into the condenser and evaporator. The evaporator will absorb heat from the air entering the passenger compartment. The compressor can be a piston, scroll, or vane type and is either driven by the accessory belt or an electric motor.

We offer a range of more than 1,300 compressors, which means that we have one of the widest ranges of compressors on the market, covering more than 95% of cars in Europe. All of our AC compressors are delivered as a plug-and-play solution and prefilled with the correct oil type. Our compressors have to meet precise suction/discharge, pressure, noise, leak, and vibration parameters, as well as power consumption. Other components, control valves, the compressor shaft, and the clutch, play an important role in the compressor’s performance, and our control plan includes a 100% pre-test of multiple sub-components before final assembly.
