For the maintenance of air conditioning systems, with its A/C service units, Bosch is already a competent and reliable partner for workshops. From now on, A/C components will also be offered in the Bosch spare parts range to support workshops in case of repairs.

The new spare parts program includes A/C compressors, condensers, dryers, expansion valves, and evaporators for professional repair on the air conditioning system.
With its ACS range, Bosch makes the maintenance operations of the AC R134a, R1234yf and newly R456a systems easier and more efficient.
From high-end, full featured units to more essential – with the right balance of performance and functionalities to cover all service tasks, the workshop is always equipped with the right ACS equipment. Now also compatible for using R456a refrigerant.

Compatible with R456a - what does it mean:

• All our current R134a air conditioning service units (except the ACS 810) are compatible with R456a
• R456a is an alternative to R134a on existing mobile air-conditioning systems
• R456a has a GWP of 626, representing a significant reduction in CO2-equivalent footprint when compared to R134a which has a GWP of 1430
• R134a has been banned for use in new vehicles in Europe since 2014
• It can also be handled using existing R134a servicing equipment and is safe to intermix with R134a
