WELL PREPARED FOR FUTURE EMISSIONS TESTS
Since July 2023, the measurement of the particle number concentration for diesel vehicles
with compression ignition engines from emission class Euro 6/VI.
For these vehicles, this new measurement procedure replaces the previous
opacity measurement previously carried out as part of the HU/AU in 2023.
The opacimeter will continue to be used for tailpipe measurements on all other diesel vehicles.
