In 2014, the company launched the production of AMP piston rings that meet the highest quality requirements.

Piston rings work in very difficult conditions characterized by high thermal and mechanical loads. Due to the appropriate construction approach and the correct selection of materials, Paradowscy AMP is able to meet these requirements. The distinguishing feature of the AMP brand products is compliance with rigorous production technology requirements in particular as to the shape of the outer surface of the rings and to the requirements included in the ISO-6626 standard.

Valves belong to engine parts subject to the greatest load. Their quality is largely decisive for engine reliability and durability.

Therefore, it is so important that the valves comply with such demanding requirements as:

• Long-term maintenance of tightness;
• Resistance to high temperature and  mechanical load strength;
• Resistance to corrosion and erosion;
• High degree of  thermal conductivity coefficient;
• Low degree of abrasion;
• High hardness value of valve faces and stems at high operating temperatures;
• Stability of material structure at high temperatures;

The PARADOWSCY AMP company proved itself as a producer of high quality parts for internal combustion engines. Along with impeccable engine valves AMP is introducing the valve guides of the same high standard.

The material used for the production of guides is gray cast iron Grade 200 (EN-JL 1030), characterized by high resistance to heat and good conductivity. This allows efficient removal of heat from the cooled cylinder head.

Valve guides made of aluminum bronze BA 1032 PN are provided for heavy-duty engines. This type of bronze alloy is one of the most durable. It is used to counteract the effects of high temperatures, cavitation and rust.

Choosing material for the production of valve guides, the operating conditions of this subassembly must be taken into account, such as: high speed of valve movement in the guide sleeve, exposure to high temperatures and limited oil level in the valve-guide system.

Along with high-quality engine valves, piston rings and valve guides Paradowscy AMP introduces piston pins produced with the same high standard technology and requirements.

An important part of the crankset is the piston pin. It serves to transfer to the connecting rod the forces resulting from gas pressures acting on the piston. The pin is subjected to forces of variable size and direction.

As the material used for the production of piston pins, Paradowscy AMP uses constructional steel 16 NS (chromium-manganese). The durability and strength of the product are obtained through the appropriate selection of heat treatment technology, as a result of which the pin core is plastic and the surface - hard. This is possible thanks to the use of two-sided cementing at a depth of 0.6-1.1 mm of the external surface and 0.3-0.7 mm of the internal surface followed by hardening. Thanks to this heat treatment mode, it is possible to obtain a hardness of 57-65 HRC on the outer surface of the pin and 28-49 HRC on the inner surface.

Increased fatigue strength of the bolts is also obtained by thoroughly polishing their outer cylindrical surface. The Paradowscy AMP company pays special attention to the control of the external surface roughness, which should not exceed Rа 0,125.
