The Revolutionary Wheel Balancer
The Megaspin FT P from Hofmann Megaplan represents the latest in wheel balancing technology, providing unparalleled precision and ease of use. Designed with innovative features, this machine ensures optimal performance, improved ergonomics, and significant time savings.
Fast Touch Technology: Simplifying Wheel Balancing
The Megaspin FT P utilizes Fast Touch technology, making wheel balancing accessible to everyone. Once the wheel dimensions are detected, a simple press of a button transmits the data to the software, which stores it and initiates imbalance measurement. This process eliminates the need for traditional gauges, allowing the operator to avoid uncomfortable positions and enhancing overall work comfort and efficiency.
Megaclamp - Pneumatic Locking
The pneumatic locking mechanism, known as Megaclamp, ensures perfect wheel centering on the spindle and reduces clamping time. This feature not only increases the accuracy of the balancing process but also enhances productivity by minimizing setup times.
Automatic Positioning System
Equipped with an automatic positioning system featuring an electromagnetic brake on a DC motor, the Megaspin FT P stops the wheel instantly in the correction position. At the end of the measuring spin, the wheel halts automatically at the precise point for counterweight application. After correcting the first plane, a simple press of the "start" button positions the wheel accurately on the second correction point.
One Weight Balancing (OWB)
The One Weight Balancing (OWB) system, activated automatically at the end of the spin, suggests a single ideal correction plane instead of two. The laser pointer indicates the exact point for balancing the wheel, minimizing both static and dynamic imbalance with a single counterweight. OWB offers 30% time savings for 70% of wheels.
AVS Sonar (Optional)
To address vibrations caused by factors other than unbalance, the Megaspin FT P can perform an in-depth run-out analysis using the optional Anti Vibration System (AVS). The AVS Sonar detects wheel eccentricity with 0.1 mm accuracy, providing a precise diagnosis in seconds. The HubMatch system guides the operator through the on-car eccentricity cancellation process, further enhancing the balancing precision.
