About us
This is Beissbarth
Beissbarth Automotive Testing Solutions GmbH has been active in the automotive sector for over 123 years and develops innovative vehicle service workshop testing and service equipment in the premium segment. This includes products for wheel alignment, ADAS calibration, headlight adjustment, brake testing, lifts as well as machines for tire service and diagnosis. Beissbarth works closely with the leading automotive manufacturers (OEM’s) to develop services for the vehicles of tomorrow.
Product diversity
"A good workshop doesn't need a lot of equipment, just the right one." This is the core message that Beissbarth sends to workshops: Because with the variety of products, the workshop is able to offer its customers a high-quality all-round service - using tire service as an example, this means the following:
- Tire diagnosis within seconds
- Comprehensive brake service
- Tire change with flexible lifting platforms
- Simple wheel balancing & reliable mounting
The workshop can offer further services by using non-contact wheel alignment or precise headlight adjustment equipment. No matter which product, it is always about precision and quality. Because our own claim to competence is: measurably better.
With Q.DAS, the new calibration solution for safety-relevant driver assistance systems (ADAS), workshops operate the calibration service themselves and return vehicles to their customers safely and in conformity with the manufacturer's specifications. Conventional calibration solutions are mainly designed for use next to the wheel alignment station and usually cover all FAS, including comfort features such as parking sensors. With Q.DAS, Beissbarth deliberately focuses on the forward-facing safety-relevant ADAS systems. These in particular must be recalibrated after wheel alignment on most models, as they are intended to ensure greater safety, especially at higher speeds. Comfort features such as parking sensors do not need to be recalibrated after a wheel alignment.
And even more: Q.DAS is integrated with Q.Lign, the innovative wheel aligner from Beissbarth. In a solution without a wheel aligner, it can only be assumed that the wheel alignment complies with the manufacturer's specifications. The combination with Q.Lign ensures that exactly these alignment settings are adjusted in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The adjustments can be made in a very short time, together with the subsequent ADAS calibration - all in one go. This saves time-consuming comebacks.
Beissbarth aspires to create value added system solutions rather than individual products and attempts to combine efficiency and high precision in everything it does.

MLD 9000
An unbelievably bright idea: Our MLD 9000 headlight tester
Headlight testing procedure is a new challenge for workshops.
- continuous technological development
- new safety standards
- specific manufacturers calibration procedures
- expert know-how required for intelligent headlight tests
The solution is the digital headlight tester MLD 9000 by Beissbarth. It's suitable for all light sources and intelligent systems (matrix 1, matrix 2, DLA, ILS …). This product prepares the workshop to future challenges. The system can be kept up to date if new standard will be created from manufacturers.
The MLD 9000's measuring technology ensures the highest accuracy. Digital image processing using live images in real time allows for the precise testing and adjustment of various headlight types in an intuitive and speedy manner. Adjustment diagrams indicate actual and target values in a way that is both easy to access and understand. Additionally, acoustic signals will indicate that the headlights have been adjusted in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and legal requirements. The user is guided through the evaluation and adjustment process, which makes the complexity of high-tech headlight designs manageable and offers the user complete control over the process.
An optional vertical laser kit supplements the MLD 9000. That way, the product can be aligned with the symmetrical axis of the vehicle and the headlight adjusted to meet the highest standards of manufactures. Owners of the ADAS calibration tool BBFAS 415/1415 by Beissbarth can use its laser for the MLD 9000 as well. Beissbarth also offers an inclination sensor for the product to deal with slightly uneven surfaces in the workshop.
In the future, measurement results can also be displayed directly on a computer by WLAN and linked to customer information.

EasyTread
EasyTread - Tyre diagnosis at the vehicle reception with identification of the registration number
The tyres are the only contact points between a vehicle and the road. The quality of this bonds decides how safely the vehicle can be accelerated and braked. Especially aquaplaning can only be avoided by sufficient tread depth. This is why checking tread wear is a mandatory item of all statutory safety inspection. At the same time, uneven tread wear is a clear indication for a workshop that a wheel alignment should be considered - and that a wheel alignment check should be proposed to the customer.
- The Easy Tread needs only few seconds to calculate the tyre’s tread depths of a vehicle
- Clear display of tyre tread depth and wear information, within short time
- Recommended action are displayed (for the vehicle and/or the tyre)
- Crossing speed up to 8 km/h
- Can be integrated above ground in the workshop
- High precision thanks to the larger wheel contact area
- Browser-based measurement results on smart TV, PC or tablet computer
- No PC needed (can be however used to manage Customer-data, measuring data and statistics)
- Interface to connect the device in a customer owner system, where the data can be transferred for further processing (option)
- No moving parts (low maintenance)
- Measures in both directions of vehicle crossing over system
- Quality from Germany

Q.DAS
Q.DAS: Beissbarth's fastest solution for ADAS calibration so far!
All new vehicles sold since 2022 onwards will be equipped with safety-relevant advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Already today, these sensors need to be recalibrated even after minor repairs, but especially after a wheel alignment. This provides workshops with a new service
potential.
The new calibration solution Q.DAS allows workshops to perform the highly profitable service inhouse to safely return the vehicles to their customer.
