About us
RVS Technology® products are an innovation from Finland. We are passionate about what we do, and we are a trusted partner in our field worlwide. We make our product with an experience of over 20 years. One of our goals is to spread the knowledge of car emissions and their effect on the environment. We believe that every individual counts in tackling the climate change, and we want to help more and more people to pay attention on the emissions of their own car. If the emissions of one car are reduced even by 5–25 %, it becomes a huge effect when multiplied by the amount of cars.
Today we at RVS can be proud of the fact that our products have helped hundreds of thousands of car owners, boat owners, and professionals in different industries throughout the world to get a better user experience, lower emissions and costs, as well as longer useful life for their equipment.
We are broadly involved in different types of motorsports where the goal is to maximise the energy output without breaking any mechanism. We want to offer our customers the best possible products so that they can get the most out of their engines.
RVS Technology® products are based on a triboceramic treatment that reduces fuel consumption and emissions. RVS Technology® is a real nanotechnological power treatment for engines, transmissions, and other mechanical devices. It is neither motor oil nor an oil additive, but a unique and innovative method of forming a new surface material.
The abbreviation RVS stands for Restores Vital Surfaces. RVS Technology® protects your engine as it prevents and repairs many problems caused by normal wear, such as noise, smoke, excessive oil or fuel consumption, lack of power, or uneven compression. Corresponding benefits brought along by reduced friction can be obtained in many other mechanisms as well.
RVS is the only technology that has the capability of restoring friction surfaces up to their original dimensions. The core of the technology lies in its ability to “identify” worn and defected zones as well as zones that are prone to wear. By using friction heat energy, certain parts of the RVS compound react and form a new surface structure autoreactively, i.e., automatically, without any external control. The process also ceases automatically when the ceramic surface has been formed and there is no more energy available. The process is thus safe, and the surface can never grow to an excess.
The thickness of the surface structure depends on the wear rate of the mechanism and the pressure that affects the surface during the operation of the mechanism. The more the surfaces have worn, the more there are internal shocks and, therefore, energy, i.e., heat, available for the restorative process.
Even with the most modern manufacturing methods, processing friction surface pairs to optimal dimensions is difficult and expensive. As in an RVS treatment, a new surface structure is formed automatically during normal operation; there is no need to dismantle the mechanism. This characteristic of RVS Technology® significantly intensifies the effects of a treatment, e.g., in industrial circumstances where restoring equipment has traditionally caused shut-downs of manufacturing processes.
By using RVS Technology®, restoring friction surface pairs occurs easily without expensive spare parts, logistics, handling expenses, or the need to contact a service department. As a result, you get a reliable mechanism for a long time.
The origin of the RVS technology goes back to extensive deep drilling operations. During drilling was discovered that at a certain depth drill heads stayed sharp many times longer than they normally would. During the subsequent research it became clear that it was the mineral in the layers of rock that was causing this surprising effect.
The observation inspired a group of Finnish and international researchers in the 1990’s to work together. The goal of the group was to refine the idea on the minerals’ effect to a level of utilising them commercially.
The first commercial RVS Technology® products were launched in 2001. They passed several international tests, which made it possible to develop and enlarge the product selection to new markets.
In 2007, the RVS Technology® was sold to the present company. The transaction made international patents and investments in the new, improved third-generation product family.

Our Products

RVS Engine treatment for diesel engines
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for four-stroke diesel engines
Improve the economy and durability of your vehicle while you make it environmentally more friendly. RVS TECHNOLOGY® protects surfaces and equipment from wear. As the friction reduces, the energy loss is reduced. This leads to reduced emissions and improves engine operation. The engine becomes long-lasting and economically effective.
The treatment is easy to carry out by yourself:
- Let the engine idle or operate for at least 5 minutes unless it is already warm.
- Mix the product contents of the package. Shake well.
- Shut the engine down, open the hood (bonnet), and and pour one half of the mixture into the engine via the oil filling hole.
- Let the engine idle for about 15 minutes. Stop the engine and pour the rest of the mixture into the oil filling hole.
- Start the engine and drive for at least 30 to 40 minutes.
You ensure the best possible result by renewing the treatment about 400 km (250 miles) after the first treatment. It is recommended to carry out the second treatment after oil change. The second treatment is recommended for vehicles with a mileage of over 40,000 kms (25,000 miles).

RVS Power steering protection & restoration
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for hydraulic power steering
Improve the usability of your vehicle very easily. RVS TECHNOLOGY® protects surfaces and equipment from wear. If the steering feels stiff or makes noise, you can improve its operation yourself.
Introduce the RVS Power Steering Protection & Restoration product into the oil reservoir of your power steering system and turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to the other. After the treatment, the steering becomes light, accurate, and noiseless.
The product suits power steering systems with oil capacity up to 2 litres (2 qt.). Attention! Not suitable for electric power steering.
Note that the product affects only the power steering unit. If the steering has other problems, the product has no effect on them. Using the product is not badly spent money in any case as the pump becomes more durable after the RVS treatment.

RVS Engine treatment for gasoline engines
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for 4-stroke gasoline (petrol) engines G2-G8
Improve the economy and durability of your vehicle while you make it environmentally more friendly. RVS TECHNOLOGY® is certified to protect surfaces abd mechanisms from wear. As the friction reduces, the energy loss is reduced. This leads to reduced emissions and improves engine operation. The engine becomes long-lasting and economically effective.

You guarantee the best possible result by renewing the treatment about 400 km (250 miles) after the first treatment. It is recommended to carry out the second treatment after oil change. A second treatment is recommended for vehicles with a mileage of over 40,000 km (25,000 miles).

RVS Treatment for manual and automatic transmissions
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for transmissions manual T3-T5 and automatic T6A-T8A
Improve the economy and durability of your vehicle while you make it environmentally more friendly.
RVS TECHNOLOGY® protects surfaces and equipment from wear. Transmission parts wear, which causes them to become stiff and noisy. After the treatment, the transmission becomes easier to use and it works more accurately.
In the product family, there are products for both automatic and manual transmissions. Carrying out the treatment is easiest if done during a regular service. You can also do it yourself if you know where to add oil to the transmission.

RVS treatment for fuel injection petrol/diesel engines
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for fuel injection systems
Improve the economy and durability of your vehicle while you make it environmentally more friendly. RVS TECHNOLOGY® protects surfaces and equipment from wear. By treating your fuel system, you clean, restore, and protect the fuel pump and injectors of your vehicle. It improves the combustion process and prevents fuel pump failures.
The treatment is easy to carry out by yourself:
- It is recommended to start the RVS Technology® Injection System Protection & Restoration procedures when the fuel tank is almost empty (the amount of fuel is sufficient for 45-to-60-minute driving).
- Shake the bottle well (20–30 sec.) until the mixture is homogenous.
- Pour the contents of the bottle into the fuel tank.
- Let the engine operate – preferably in driving conditions – until the fuel tank is almost empty. Avoid stopping the engine during this time. Fill up the fuel tank and continue using the vehicle as usual.
- The treatment is complete after approximately 300 to 500 km (180 to 300 miles) of driving.
You guarantee the best possible result if you treat the engine with RVS Technology® Engine Protection & Restoration products first.
