The positive crankcase ventilation or PCV system vents air from inside your engine caused by the engine's operation. Due to emissions requirements this air must be recirculated back into the engine. In order to recirculate this air into the engine a series of hoses and valves are needed. The crank case valve and hoses commonly crack overtime and lead to a check engine light (CEL), poor fuel economy, and sometimes smoke coming from the exhaust. This kit includes all 5 PCV components that commonly fail on your BMW.
