The W253 series is an unprecedented solution, which is a modular lamp together with a license plate frame. The lamps come in both front and rear variants, and under many different configurations, can perform from 1 up to 6 functions at once, from the following to choose: license plate light, rear position light, stop, driving direction light, fog light, reverse light, work light, orange or blue warning light, white or red reflector. With the right configuration, two W253 lamps can completely replace the regular combined rear lamps, at the same time offering more space and the possibility to mount two license plates.
