It has an exceptionally high dry boiling point, typically 325°C, making it ideal for use in challenging braking conditions such as rally races and other automotive competitions. Suitable for all disc and drum brake systems, except for those for which the use of mineral oil is prescribed, DINOIL DAYTONA DOT 4 Racing has a very high vapor lock point and maintains this characteristic throughout its service interval. DINOIL DAYTONA DOT 4 Racing exceeds the following specifications: US Federal Standards FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4, ISO 4925, JIS K2233, and the current SAE J1703.
