a) Why use recycled material?

Recyclate is the product of a recycling process; literally translated, the term means "reintroduced into the cycle". Applied to plastics, recyclate is reutilised plastic material from the recycling of plastic waste. New, environmentally friendly plastic products are created from it - only then does the material cycle close.

• The use of recyclates means that less new plastic has to be produced
• Existing plastic is made usable again, thus protecting our environment
• By reusing the recycled plastic, the CO2 footprint of the film is significantly reduced
