Generation 3 is an upgraded assembly based on Generation 1 and Generation 2 products. It is essential to always refer to and adhere to vehicle and product specifications.

Features:
- A tapered or ball design;
- A double row bearing with flanges for wheel and brake rotor attachment and for fixing to the suspension;
- Outer ring fange is bolted to the suspension;
- Rotating inner ring with flange, spigot (pilot), and threaded holes (studs) for mounting the brake and wheel;
- Greased and sealed;
- Suitable for both driven and non-driven wheels;
- For driven wheel applications, torque is transmitted tothe inner ring via a spline, which is included;
- Some include a wheel speed sensor for ABS, Traction Control, and Stability Control systems;
- Some sensors are serviceable with a replacement sensor cord, while others are permanently sealed and non-serviceable.
