Corner Protectors Stabilo® are currently a very important part of equipment used in transport applications. Stabilo® protects the cargo from being crushed (destroyed) due to the tension of the lashing strap, spreading evenly the strength of tension. Stabilo® also secure the lashing straps against abrasions by sharp edges of load.

Nevertheless, one of the most important functions (which is often disregarded) is the evenly distribute the strap tension along its length. Effectiveness of the strength distribution achieved by the protector is defined as the “K” factor. According to VDI 2700 guidelines and DIN EN 12195-1:2004 requirements, value of the “K” factor must be higher or equal to 1.5 (K ≥ 1,5). Stabilo-max® protectors have achieved a very high value of the k factor – K=1,93 – which has been confirmed by test carried out in a laboratory under the supervision of independent TŰV Rheinland inspectors. In result, the obtained TŰV Rheinland certificate guarantees that your cargo, secured by Stabilo-max® corner protectors usage, will be safe on the proper way.

Continuously increasing the paper manufacturers’ demands for transport companies in the protection of their cargo, and in particular paper in the roles, has contributed to the work on the new project. As a result, we have launched the new PaperMAX corner protector on the market.

PaperMAX corner protectors are being recommended by leading paper manufacturers for a number of practical properties. The curved edge of one of the arms makes it easier to fasten the lashing strap and protect the transported paper in rolls lying down (horizontally). Thanks to the highest quality of the raw materials used for production, the high impact resistance has been achieved. What is more, the protectors can be applied within a wide scope of temperatures (from – 20°C up to + 70°C).

A corner protector Stabilo® 1200 designed to the protection of loads on the larger length. This product can be applied to the protection of bricks, tiles on palettes, barrels, products in bags (i.e.  ement, glues, gypsum, as well as fertilizers and chemicals).

His length: 1200mm allows to spread of the lashing straps tension on the larger surface. Thanks to designed shape we can easy cut Stabilo® 1200 on smaller parts according to the end user needs, i.e. 800mm, 600mm, 400mm.

Corner protector Stabilo® smart allows to spread of the lashing straps tension on the larger surface especially in cases when standard corner protectors usage can damage the load within transportation. Thanks to designed system called: „Clip-on” you can easy adjust the length of corner protector to longer sections (multiple of 600mm) according to the end user needs.
