The prestigious Innovation Awards are presented in 10 categories. Two independent experts review the submissions before they are passed on to an international jury for evaluation. The jury is made up of 16 recognised international experts. In addition to the Innovation Awards, it also presents a Green Award for a particularly sustainable product.

Dr Andreas Schlegel is Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Alliance autoMOBILproduktion, an association of 17 institutes of the Fraunhofer Society with a clear customer focus on the automotive industry. He is also the author and co-author of numerous national and international publications, an expert reviewer for ASIM SPL and WSC, among others, and advises partners from industry and society on engineering issues and innovations.

Review: These were the Innovation Awards 2024
At a festive awards ceremony on 10 September 2024 at Automechanika Frankfurt, the winners were presented with the coveted Innovation Awards. In addition to the eight awards in categories such as Electromobility & Innovative Drive Technologies, Workshop & Service Solutions, Parts & Innovative Technologies, and Data & Networking, a Green Award was also presented for a particularly sustainable product.
