The increased temperatures in very hot climates reversely affect a battery’s performance, by increasing self-discharge and corrosion, and reducing service life. Heat+ batteries are designed to combat and delay the above effects, utilizing stiffer plate grids, special additives in active material, and overall reinforced battery construction thus improving battery service life. SMF cover is standard for Heat+ batteries as well as carton box. In addition to the above, Heat+ batteries are manufactured according to the IEC60095 standard so they are aligned with the requirement of SASO standard in KSA.
