IP65 high-torque BLDC motors:

The multi-pole motor design of the ELRA high-torque drives enables nominal speeds of 700-800rpm and continuous torques of up to 5.5Nm. In addition, the motors achieve high peak torques of up to 8Nm, which means that dynamic load changes and load peaks can also be absorbed much better than would be possible with gearboxes. In addition, the absence of a gearbox enables, among other things, backlash-free positioning and quiet operation. The service life of up to 20,000 hours cannot be achieved with standard gearboxes either.

Due to the increased demand for stepper motors in industrial design, we at ELRA have decided to develop a complete motor series that meets the requirements in mechanical engineering as well as automation technology. The new ELRA stepper motors in size Nema17 (42mm), Nema23 (56mm) and Nema24 (60mm) are characterized by a closed design, which allows a protection class up to IP65.
All motors are equipped with M12 connectors, both for the motor phases and the optional encoder. The connector outputs can be either axial or radial, thanks to a flexible housing concept.Specifications:

Brushless bevel gear motor:

From the family of complete drives, ELRA presents the new compact bevel geared motor.

It is ideally suited for applications where a 90° force deflection is required. Ideal areas of application for this complete drive are mechanical engineering and robotics applications. The bevel gear motor can be used in any installation position.

The new travel drives from ELRA impress with their enormous flexibility in terms of performance and installation space and are easy to integrate. Optimized selection of components reduces weight, improves power consumption and thus saves energy and battery consumption.

As is typical for ELRA, customer-specific adaptations such as different wheel widths, rubber coatings or cable options can be implemented without any problems.

The new generation of ELRA complete drives with integrated electronics and planetary gears has been completely redesigned to offer customers even more flexibility. For this purpose, all housing parts were completely redesigned in order to be able to install different electronic boards but also to significantly increase the protection class. The new generation can now be configured up to IP67 and will be available from Q1-2024.

But connectivity was not neglected in the revision either. All drives are available with CAN-Open as well as with EtherCAT bus connection. In addition, the connection concept has been converted to M16 connectors, which makes the new complete drive more flexible in terms of cabling and can therefore be integrated much more easily into customer applications.
