Background and Strategic Location:

Founded in 2010, Light Environment Control SL (LEC) stands out as one of the first LED luminaire factories in Europe. Since 2012, we have operated in a building spanning over 6,500m2, with three floors dedicated to the design, development, and production of LED-based luminaires. Situated in Barbate, within an hour from the Port of Algeciras Bay, we are strategically connected to a key Mediterranean port with an annual traffic of 90 million tons.

Clean Room and Key Processes:

Our 400m2 Clean Room is the epicenter of our production. The ability to design and manufacture electronic boards gives us a competitive edge in terms of flexibility, inventory optimization, delivery times, and product quality assurance.

Processes and Technology:

In this area, we employ SMT technology and perform manual insertion and selective soldering of conventional components. We conduct electrical and functional tests to ensure product quality.

Machining and Finishing:

We have advanced technology to transform materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, etc., following R&D+i specifications. We machine, cut, and fold metal sheets to meet diverse needs.

Special Treatments and Final Assembly:

In certain cases, we apply special treatments for extreme environments. Our final assembly area follows Lean principles to optimize quality and efficiency in product assembly, verification, and packaging.

Fotometry Laboratory:

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our fotometry laboratory ensures accurate product characterization from development to mass production.
