Alcar was established in spring 1981 and soon acquired customers all over the world. In 1986 Alcar moved to a larger premises to accomodate its increased production capacity. In 1989 the corporate structure and sales strategies changed completely and the entire woirkforce was renewed, the aim being to create a much younger and more dynamic organisation. During the same period Alcar stopped to sell car components and branched out into the agricultural machinery sector, including the sale of generating sets, motor clutches, motor pumps and their spare parts alongwith used farm and earthmoving machinery.

In 1994 Alcar acuired two trademarks from Italcardano SpA: RICARRO, spares for industrial vehicles and VANGUARD, valves and engine components, which opened up new markets abroad.

In 2008 Alcar moved to larger and more rationally organised premises; the plant is just a 2-minute drive from the Brescia Centro motorway exit.

The ALCAR trademark is knokn and appreciated in over seventy different countries.

Alcar sells spare parts mainly for top names such as Iveco, Astra, CNH-New Holland (tractors, farm and earth-moving machinery), FPT/Aifo, Deutz, Perkins, Lombardini, Volvo.

We supply also products in the Energy and Water division: open and/or soundproof generator sets for every need with power output ranging from 2 to 2000 KVA, motor pumps and irrigation technilogies and their spare parts.
