Registration ramps up for Automechanika Birmingham 2025 as momentum builds

28 May 2025

Automechanika Birmingham 2025 – the UK’s largest automotive trade exhibition – is experiencing a surge in registration numbers, as anticipation builds for its return to the NEC, Birmingham from 3rd – 5th June 2025.

Early visitor registrations have already surpassed 2023’s show, with 70 percent new registrations versus 2023 and a nine percent overall increase in visitor registrations. The event has received an influx of interest from garage professionals, technicians, workshop owners, bodyshop professionals, detailers and students alike.

With over 550 exhibitors, more than 50 new product launches, exclusive giveaways, and a jam-packed programme of technical training, panel discussions and live demos across five feature areas, the 2025 edition is shaping up to be the biggest – and best - yet.

Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Automechanika Birmingham, commented: “There’s a real buzz around the show this year. With technology advancing rapidly, business models evolving and skills in high demand, Automechanika Birmingham is offering the industry the tools, training and insight it needs to stay ahead. This momentum in registrations shows how ready the industry is to connect, learn and evolve together.”

Attendees can look forward to expert-led sessions across feature areas, including the Workshop Hub (sponsored by Delphi, in association with Autotechnician), Aftermarket Hub (sponsored by eBay), and Innovation4Mobility (in association with SMMT). Topics include EV adoption and repair, AI and automation, challenges facing the sector, customer communication and sustainable mobility.

Visitors will also be able to experience new features such as the Thirty Under 30 Awards to celebrate the next generation of industry talent and Automechanika Motorvate, aimed at opening doors, changing perceptions and showcasing the careers, training and recruitment available in the sector.

More than just a trade show, Automechanika Birmingham 2025 also offers visitors access to leading exhibitors from over 25 countries including Alliance Automotive Group/NAPA/APEC, Autotech Group, Autel, BM Catalysts, Bosch, Brembo, Castrol and The Race Group, Comma, DEWALT Automotive, Draper Tools, ISN Europe, Launch Tech UK, Liqui Moly, LKQ Euro Car Parts/Emotive, MAHLE Aftermarket, MANN-FILTER, Niterra UK, Ring / Osram, Sealey, Snap On, TMD Friction and ZF, all showcasing their latest – and greatest – products, technology and advice, Automechanika Birmingham 2025 is a must-attend event for anyone in the sector.

We’re a busy garage, but having attended every event since 2018, we’ve always seen something new that helps us improve. Following the last event, our business grew by 25%. There’s even more of my team attending in 2025.”
