Steady growth of exhibitors and visitors

MIMS Automechanika Moscow - the main business platform of the industry.

Being a leading business platform in Russia and Eastern Europe, MIMS Automechanika Moscow annually reaffirms its status as a major event for car aftersales service industry. 1,403 companies from 36 countries presented their products, services and innovative solutions on more than 50,500 square meters of the total exhibition area.

Exhibition sections featured: Automotive Parts & Components / Diagnostics & Car Repair / Accessories & Tuning / Batteries and Car Electrics / Motor Oils, Car Chemistry & Car Wash / Management and Digital Solutions in the Automotive Business.

Among the exhibitors there are leading manufacturers and suppliers of automotive components, equipment and vehicle maintenance products: AD Russia, Auger, BREMBO, Contitech, Federal Mogul, Ferdinand Bilstein, GROUP AUTO Russia, Krafttech, KYB, MANN FILTER, Meiji, MK Kashiyama, Nexus Automotive Russia, PEKAR, SASH Lubricants, ZF, Beru, VolgaAvtoProm, Carville, Lada Image, MARCON, EUROREPAR CAR SERVICE, Rival, Triton-Import, SHAAZ, SHATE-M Plus and others.

Within the framework of the “Truck Competence” project, more than 380 companies presented automotive parts and solutions for freight vehicles.

This year companies from Malaysia, Thailand and India presented their national pavilions for the first time. Exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Indonesia, France, Korea, China, Turkey, Poland, Taiwan and Singapore showcased new products and modern trends in the automotive market at joint stands in national pavilions.

The exhibition was visited by 28,857 professionals from 66 countries and 77 regions of Russia. This is a distinctive growth amounting to 5% as compared with the past year.

Business Programme of MIMS Automechanika Moscow.

This year was the 10th anniversary of IMAF, the International Moscow Automotive Forum. The main topic of the Forum was: “Automotive industry meeting the future: Global prospects.” The first day was devoted to discussion of regulation issues and prospects for the automotive industry development, electric vehicles and the development of the unmanned vehicle industry.

The second day was focused on discussions of localisation of manufacturing facilities between buyers and vendors. The discussions were followed by traditional B2B meetings: direct negotiations between automakers and wholesale buyers with vendors.

This time IMAF was attended by over 200 representatives from automotive experts.

The Forum’s partners were: the Uludag Exporters’ Association (UIB) from Turkey as the partner country. The main Internet partner is Auto.ru and the Forum’s partner is DLA Piper.

IMAF 2019 is organised by ITEMF Expo together with the Association of European Business.

29 August, Autoservice-2019 conference was held as part of the fair, where topical issues facing the industry were touched on:
Analytics: Car service market in Russia: volume, structure, dynamics, trends.

A survey among car owners: official dealer, network service station, independent service, a familiar mechanic. What does a car owner choose today and why? How do preferences change and what should the service owners prepare for tomorrow?

Strategies of the spare parts market participants. Strategies for the development of car services and partners.  

Service experience and expertise with authorized dealers and independent service networks.

IT-solutions for services: effective solutions for increasing profits.

Service and equipment: new technologies and development trends of the field.

Organisers: ITEMF Expo and analytical agency “Avtostat”.

The conference brought together more than 200 experts in the field of service stations, dealer networks and independent services.

At the AGORA Open Conference Area over 50 relevant topics were voiced that were highlighted by key industry speakers. The platform was attended by 439 representatives of exhibiting companies and reputable professionals.

Chains Wholesale Centre™: Automotive Products & Spare Parts: over 510 B2B negotiations between Chinese suppliers of goods and services for the car aftermarket industry with representatives of purchasing networks and wholesale companies were held as part of the exhibition.

The Chains Wholesale Centre™ was attended by 28 specialized networks, importers and dealerships, including: EMEX, CHANGAN, BIG1.RU, Globalpart, Elite Service, Re:Bus and 283 manufacturers from Asia.

In 2020, the 24th edition of MIMS Automechanika Moscow, an international exhibition of automotive spare parts, automotive components, equipment and vehicle maintenance products, will take place in Expocentre from 24 August to 27 August.
