A senior journalist at Xinhua News Agency, Mr Li Zhiyong, who has been closely studying the development of China’s automotive industry for years, pointed out that the automotive aftermarket has become the biggest growing area amidst the country’s car-making market, which is currently entering a “new normal” stage. Automechanika Shanghai offers a comprehensive platform which covers all aspects in the entirety of the automotive industry chain from R&D and manufacturing, to distribution and aftermarket services. It gives a strong foundation in fostering information exchange, trading and technology development and taking a lead to facilitate the transformation and upgrade of the automotive industry and its continuous development.

Full spectrum of automotive industry highlighted through fringe programme events

There were 56 unique events during this year’s fringe programme for Automechanika Shanghai. Through these events, the trade fair platform is extended and all services are enhanced.
