These tools are universal riveting machines used for the most OEM recommended technique - with no heat or pre-drilled holes - for joining aluminum panels together and/or removing rivets.
Self-Pierce Riveting (SPR) is a standard method to fasten two or more sheets of material by using special custom dies. CMO electro-hydraulic riveting tool (battery operated) can operate all type of riverts: Self Piercing Rivets, but also other type of rivets as Flow Form Rivets, Blind Rivets, Threaded Nuts.
The EP.02 or the RV700 are battery-operated, hydraulic riveting system allowing the operator to select or adjust the force (kN level) used to insert the rivet based on the OEM recommendations. The pressure and speed controls increases accuracy and enables the rivets to be inserted without panel distortion.
The micro-control system has the capability of recording and allowing download of riveting data, create specific programs (only RV700) and generate riveting job reports . On the graphical display (only RV700) of the machine it is possible to check out real-time information of the pump, set up and actual installation force, select pressure and store custom riveting programs. The system has a diagnostic function when there is a fault with the machine and service is required. The tools are equipped wirth a USB port for downloading recorded riveting data and firmware upgrades.
