New, reman and repair: whilst remanufacturing is at the core of its business, Carwood also stocks and distributes a full range of Bosch fuel pumps and injectors for petrol- and diesel-powered vehicles. With Bosch new, eXchange and repair solutions, in addition to its own OE-approved remanufactured range, Carwood can provide a choice of high quality, competitively priced solutions. For example, a new OE unit, still the only viable service option for GDi, a more cost- and eco-friendly exchange unit, or the spare parts for a more economical repair.
Diagnostic and test equipment: Carwood also sells and supports Carbon Zapp’s full range of innovative test and diagnostic equipment for all makes of diesel and petrol systems. Including its latest generation of standalone test benches, with embedded cloud-based software, and compact desktop solutions, service professionals will be able will be able to quickly and accurately diagnose, test and repair a full range of high-tech fuel systems, freeing up valuable labour and bench time and increasing shop throughput and profits.
Fuel system service solutions: in addition to parts and equipment, Carwood offers a range of technical services at its dedicated fuel systems operation in Birmingham. This includes a professional, off-vehicle DPF cleaning service that removes all ash, PM10, cerium and oil deposits, restoring the unit to 98% of its original capacity. Injector diagnostics and servicing, including the ability to backflush, replace the internal filters and seals and code Euro 4, 5 and 6 injectors.
