Expocentr Fairgrounds is a venue that meets all modern requirements of the exhibition business. Annually, Expocentr Fairgrounds hosts approximately 100 trade fairs of different size and importance with over 30 000 exhibitors participating. The total space of the Fairgrounds is over 200 000 sq m; the total exhibition space is 135 000 sq m comprising 85 000 sq m of indoor exhibition space and 50 000sq m of outdoor exhibition space. In 2006, the total space occupied by trade fairs and conventions was 665 000 sq m. Expocentr Fairgrounds offers nine modern exhibition pavilions and halls for conventions, press conferences, meetings and symposia. The company renders all kinds of services connected with exhibitions and conventions. During the exhibition season (which lasts almost all year round) Expocentr welcomes over one million of visitors. The majority of events organized by Expocentr are held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Expocentr is a member of UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, InterEXPO - the Association of Organizers of Exhibitions Abroad and of National Participations in International Trade Fairs and Exhibitions), ICCA – (The International Congress and Convention Association, AIPC (The International Association of Congress Centers) and of RUEF (The Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs). |
