Automechanika Racer hits the road
App and online game for Automechanika fans
The iPhone is gaining more and more enthusiastic users around the world. Now, for everyone who is already looking forward to the fair, Automechanika has launched a special game app for the iPhone. And, if you haven’t got a smartphone, it’s no problem. Simply play online.
The aim of the game is to drive a virtual car to Frankfurt as quickly as possible. During the journey, the driver has to get the car into shape at a variety of locations. Important are dexterity and quick reactions.
The route begins at a scrapyard and runs through the countryside to Frankfurt. On the way, the driver must cope with a variety of obstacles and surprises. Extra points are awarded to drivers who have their car painted or repaired in a workshop, take it through the car wash or fit it with additional accessories.
Among the 500 best participants tickets for the Automechanika will be raffled at the end of each month. The closing date for the competition is 31 August 2012.
Automechanika Racer is available in German and English.
