“Corporate values – how do investors and bankers assess them”
Values and evaluation: We establish an actual value, a price, but we also evaluate, in other words, we formulate an opinion, an assessment. Value: We analyse the corporate value essentially with two methods,
the absolute, independent of actual market prices and transaction prices, and the relative; here, the basis is
comparable market prices. Evaluation: We evaluate the perspectives of the company; we establish a clearly
formulated opinion. The result is “yes or no”, “good or bad”, “buy or sell”.
