New hall 11

The new Hall 11 at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre had been opened its doors for the first time on the occasion of the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in September. At Automechanika 2010, the two floors with around 24,000 square metres of exhibition space (gross) will be occupied by products from the ‘Repair & Maintenance’ segment.

Thus, the bodywork repair and Colortec segments will move closer together. In Hall 11.0, visitors will find all they need for working on vehicle bodies, as well as tools and workshop equipment. In Hall 11.1, the focus will be on painting, surface finish and corrosion protection.

At the same time the new ‘Portalhaus’ Entrance (formerly the West Entrance) opened, which has a direct link to Hall 11. The new entrance is ideal for visitors coming from the Rebstock parking area who, after passing through Hall 11, will be to take the moving walkways of the Via Mobile straight to Halls 9 and 10, and from there to Hall 8, which offers direct access to the new Southwest Outdoor Area.
