Greater transparency in the truck sector
There’s a great deal of ‘Truck Competence’ to be found at Automechanika. And, for the first time, visitors to the coming edition of the fair are able to discover exactly what and how much with the ‘Truck Competence’ visitor guide. The new brochure provides visitors interested in the truck sector with an overview of all exhibitors, including location at the fair, arranged by Automechanika product groups.

And the subject of ‘Truck Competence’ is also online so that visitors are able to search for exhibitors and products specialising in the truck business by clicking on the ‘Truck Competence’ filter in the online search engine. Additionally, an event for truck aficionados is also planned on the Southwest Outdoor Area.

Sporty trucks at the Automechanika - power, precision and fun
Trucks have long attracted motorsport enthusiasts. The 30-year old Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring is but one example of the sport’s huge popularity. Even at rallies like the legendary “Dakar”, the fast trucks are among the spectator favorites. And when at the Truck Trial the artists at the wheel explore the limits of physics, there are often many thousands of fans holding their breath.

On the open-air exhibition grounds at the Automechanika, visitors can experience all in one place the power and fascination of these supersized monsters of motorsport.

Fast race trucks are presented in a pit in front of Hall 11, while not far away on the open-air exhibition grounds F11 the offroad faction of the Rally and Trial Trucks are on display.
