Automechanika Innovation Award 2010

The long-running "Automechanika Innovation Award" has been given again in 2010 for outstanding technical developments and innovations. The awards were presented during the official opening ceremony in ‘Saal Europa’ (Hall 4.0) at 10.00 hrs on 14 September 2010.

All winners and the top 4 entries were on show in a highly regarded special exhibition in the foyer of Hall 4.1 throughout the fair.

Launched in 1996, the internationally recognised award is given in nine categories: Parts, Systems, Tuning, Accessories, Repair/Diagnostics, Repair/Maintenance, IT & Management, Service Station & Car Wash, OE Products & Services. 

A jury of renowned experts evaluated entries in accordance with the criteria of:

• Innovative content and quality of solution
• Functionality: economic efficiency, user benefit and application areas
• Aftermarket relevance
• Safety and quality
• Contribution to environmental protection, resource conservation and sustainability
