AVL Pure Range Extender

The AVL Range Extender is automatically activated as soon as the battery state-of-charge (SOC) falls below the predefined energy reserve limit or the anticipatory operation system requires the activation and supplies the drive train or battery with electrical energy to guarantee that the destination is reached. The rotary piston engine allows for a compact structure, is low-vibration with maximum power densities and low acoustic excitation.
