No issue will have such a decisive role in the future of the automotive industry as climate protection.

Automechanika has addressed this issue and produced 2008 for the first time an environmentally oriented visitor guide – the Green Directory, which is devoted to the issues of environmental protection and the sustainability of the automotive aftermarket.





The Green Directory brochure and the ‘green logo’ on the exhibition-hall floors show clearly where all exhibitors participating in the Green Directory are to be found.

Presentation of award during the Opening Ceremony
New in 2010 was the presentation of a special award to the product with the most points. The first winner was exhibitor AVL DiTEST GmbH for the ‘AVL Pure Range Extender’ in the ‘Systems’ category. The award has been presented during the Opening Ceremony in ‘Saal Europa’, Hall 4.0, at 10.00 hrs on 14 September 2010.
